UK DDCMS: PSTI policy roundtable

UK DDCMS: PSTI policy roundtable

August 14, 2026

The Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is seeking the views of businesses impacted by the UK’s Product Security legislation  (PSTI Act 2022).

As part of their interim Post Implementation Review, they want to hear from manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers and any organisations supplying consumer connected products.

Your feedback will help them understand how the requirements are working in practice, what challenges businesses are facing, and where improvements may be needed.

The IoT Security Foundation will be facilitating a virtual roundtable at 12pm on Friday 14th August with officials leading on product security in DCMS. They are keen to hear from you on the following topics:

  • Experience of engaging with Government (then DSIT) and the regulator (OPSS) during the development of PSTI
  • Implementing the PSTI; challenges, support and costs
  • Impacts for businesses and consumers
  • Future of product security – responding to the CRA
