Scotland — Ready to RISE: free return-to-work / founder programme

Firstport has applications open for Ready to RISE, an eight-week programme specifically for women and non-binary people across Scotland who are returning to work, changing career or considering creating their own work through social enterprise. It covers confidence, work/life design, managing yourself and others, networking, idea development and starting a social enterprise. It’s delivered online by Zoom, Wednesdays 10:00–12:30, and participants may subsequently be eligible for up to £1,000 grant funding to develop their idea. Cohort 1 runs 2 September–21 October and Cohort 2 28 October–16 December; applications are currently open and roll into the next available cohort if one fills.
