Biography

Graham Curren is the founder and former CEO of Sondrel, the global semiconductor design and supply company that he built over more than 20 years from start-up to international business, operating across the UK, US, Europe, China, India, Israel and North Africa.

He led the company through its AIM IPO in 2022, one of the most significant UK semiconductor listings of recent years, before overseeing its transition back to private ownership in 2024. Throughout that journey he worked extensively with customers, investors, governments and supply-chain partners, gaining first-hand experience of the opportunities and challenges involved in scaling deep-technology businesses internationally.

Today Graham serves on corporate and advisory boards and advises technology companies in semiconductors, AI and advanced computing. His particular interest is helping growth-stage businesses bridge the gap between innovation and commercial success, including market positioning, growth strategy, investment readiness, international expansion and governance.

Alongside his technology activities, Graham is Chair of Trustees of Equinox Learning Trust. He is particularly interested in the practical challenges of building successful technology companies, securing investment for growth, developing international partnerships, translating world-class engineering into sustainable commercial value, and improving opportunities and outcomes for young people through education.
