Biography

Dr Ibrahim Sari is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience across the semiconductor and wider electronics sectors, currently serving as Associate Director for Semiconductor Systems and Integration at the University of Southampton. His work centres on advanced packaging, heterogeneous integration, and semiconductor device fabrication, translating fundamental research into commercial impact. He is the Southampton lead for the CHIMES2 Innovation and Knowledge Centre, which brings together academic innovation and industrial scalability in heterogeneous integration. Across both academia and industry, Ibrahim has built strategic partnerships that widen UK access to cutting-edge microfabrication platforms, and he is committed to sustainable growth, national resilience, and technological excellence within the UK microelectronics ecosystem.
