Keynote: What comes next – Navigating the Kaleidoscopic futures of AI and security
Keynote Speaker: Dex Hunter-Torricke, Leading strategist & Executive Advisor

Dex Hunter-Torricke is one of the tech industry’s leading strategists and executive advisors with nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of technology and global power.

He has advised some of the world’s most influential leaders including as head of communications for SpaceX, where he reported to Elon Musk, as head of executive communications for Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook during a period of critical platform security challenges, and as head of communications and public policy for Meta’s Oversight Board.

At the Resilient IoT & Trustworthy AI Conference 2025, keynote speaker Dex Hunter-Torricke explored how the rapid convergence of connected devices and advanced AI is reshaping the future of security.

The session highlighted the growing need for resilient IoT systems, trustworthy and transparent AI, and stronger protection across hardware, supply chains, and critical infrastructure. With AI becoming deeply embedded in everyday technologies, the conference emphasized that resilience, accountability, and security-by-design are essential for the next generation of digital systems.

Dex emphasized the need for trustworthy AI built on transparency, accountability, and responsible governance, alongside robust IoT security that can withstand emerging threats, including supply-chain risks and AI-driven attacks. His message was clear: as AI becomes deeply woven into global infrastructure, society must ensure these systems remain secure, reliable, and aligned with human values.
