The Young Engineer of the Year Award recognises an engineer aged 30 or under who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in engineering, business or personal development. The award celebrates young professionals making a significant impact in the early stages of their careers.

Applicants are invited to demonstrate exemplary achievement in one or more of the following areas:

– Professional engineering or technical achievement
– Contribution to their employer’s business success, competitiveness or operational improvement
– Personal and professional development

The winner of the Young Engineer of the Year Award will receive a £500 cash prize, trophy and certificate, together with recognition through TechWorks communications and wider industry publicity.

To be eligible, applicants must be practising engineers working in technology or engineering and aged 30 or under on the date of the awards ceremony in December.
