Systems Innovation Award

Systems Innovation Award

Presented by TechWorks / AESIN

Recognising outstanding system-level innovation and technology integration to create products or services that deliver significant operational or commercial advantage, addressing user needs while meeting reliability and market requirements.

The Systems Innovation Award celebrates organisations and teams that successfully bring together different technologies, components, hardware and software to create an innovative end-to-end system, product or solution. Entries should demonstrate how effective technology integration has addressed a real-world challenge or opportunity and created meaningful benefits for customers, users or the wider market.

Judges will consider the quality of the system-level innovation, the complexity and effectiveness of the integration, how well the solution addresses user and market requirements, and the technical, operational or commercial benefits achieved.

Which award should I enter?

The Systems Innovation Award recognises innovation created through the integration of different technologies into a complete product, system or service. If the primary innovation lies within the design of a device or component, the Design Innovation Award may be more appropriate. A genuinely novel underlying technology breakthrough may be better suited to Breakthrough Technology of the Year.
