Automated vehicle data is important to stakeholders across the CCAM spectrum, for all manner of use cases from research to regulation compliance.

Sharing data between stakeholders will reduce cost and accelerate learning, development, and deployment.

But there are several challenges to achieving this, not least the sheer volume and complexity of AV data.

Federated data sharing is a growing topic where data providers maintain control over their data, sharing access and allowing data services to be run on a controlled basis.

This helps to substantiate data quality and liability. But many challenges remain.
