Design Innovation Award

Design Innovation Award

Presented by TechWorks / UKSIA

Recognising outstanding design innovation across semiconductor devices and components, photonics, equipment, IP and design tools, with the potential to deliver significant technical and commercial impact.

This award celebrates innovative design that delivers a novel or differentiated technical solution, addresses a clear market or industry need, and demonstrates the potential to create meaningful technical or commercial value. Applications may relate to semiconductor devices and components, photonics, equipment, IP, design tools or other relevant enabling technologies.

Which award should I enter?

This award recognises innovation in the design of a technology, device, tool or piece of equipment. Innovation centred primarily on the integration of technologies into an end product or system may be better suited to the Systems Innovation Award, while a fundamental new technical advance may be better suited to Breakthrough Technology of the Year.
