SUMMARY:AESIN December Tech Talk: CCAM automated vehicle data sharing
DESCRIPTION:With Alan Walker (Manager\, Syselek)\, Graham Lee (Principal Engineer\, Syselek)\, Erik Svanberg (Research Leader\, SAFER Vehicle and Traffic Safety Centre\, Chalmers University)\, Isabel Capp (Head of Regulatory Policy\, CCAV\, Department for Transport) and Luca Arnaboldi (Assistant Professor\, University of Birmingham\, and Director\, Zeroth Research). \nCCAM Automated vehicle data sharing \nAutomated vehicle data is important to stakeholders across the CCAM spectrum\, for all manner of use cases from research to regulation compliance. \nSharing data between stakeholders will reduce cost and accelerate learning\, development\, and deployment. \nBut there are several challenges to achieving this\, not least the sheer volume and complexity of AV data. \nFederated data sharing is a growing topic where data providers maintain control over their data\, sharing access and allowing data services to be run on a controlled basis. \nThis helps to substantiate data quality and liability. But many challenges remain.\nWebinar Registration
