SUMMARY:AESIN Webinar: Simulation\, the backbone of AV Assurance testing
DESCRIPTION:As vehicle automation increases\, physical testing alone can no longer provide sufficient coverage\, repeatability or confidence. Virtual testing to validate complex ADAS/ADS is therefore an essential pillar of the certification process – but\, only if its evidence can be trusted\, audited and consistently reproduced. We must apply a structured\, traceable approach – from test-coverage reasoning to simulation toolchain scrutiny – enabling virtual environments to be elevated to the same evidentiary status as controlled facility or on road tests.

SUMMARY:TechWorks Stand at Advanced Engineering
DESCRIPTION:Advanced Engineering Exhibition 2026 \nHow fast can you turn new technology into real engineering advantage?\nAdvanced Engineering returns to the NEC Birmingham on 4 and 5 November 2026 and if you work in engineering or manufacturing\, this is the one event worth putting in your diary. \nIt’s not a conference. It’s not a trade show. It’s two days away from your desk\, surrounded by the people\, technologies and ideas that are genuinely moving the industry forward across aerospace\, automotive\, defence\, energy\, medical\, electronics and more.\nAt a time when industrial resilience\, supply chain security and sovereign capability have never mattered more\, Advanced Engineering brings the right people into the same room. \nSMEs meet OEMs. Innovators meet investors. Technologies find the commercial pathways they need to scale. From dual-use technologies and friend-shoring strategies to the net zero transition and the future of high-value manufacturing\, the conversations happening here are the ones shaping what comes next.\nBut perhaps the most valuable thing you’ll take away isn’t what you came looking for. It’s the supplier you didn’t know existed\, the emerging capability you hadn’t considered\, the partner that changes the direction of a project. That’s what Advanced Engineering is for.\nIn 2026\, the event is also co-locating with UK Metals Expo for the first time\, bringing even more of the UK industrial supply chain under one roof. \nRegister for free: https://register.visitcloud.com/survey/2oabfkodc7ge5?actioncode=5174 \nFind out more / Register for FREE

SUMMARY:Confidence-enabling environments: the business case
DESCRIPTION:With Ana Indoitu\, Director of People\, Operations & Growth \nConventional wisdom puts the responsibility of confidence building on the individual: improve your mindset\, practice your pitch\, repeat positive affirmations and avoid panic. Yet even the most capable people struggle to contribute when the environment is unclear\, punitive or dismissive. A seed can have all the potential in the world; it still will not thrive in barren soil. \nThis workshop builds of my professional journey as an enabler – shifting the question from “How can people become more confident?” to “What are we doing as organisations – intentionally or accidentally – to make confidence possible?” \nWe will explore how leaders and organisations can create the “fertile soil” for people to speak up\, take healthy risks\, learn from mistakes and bring innovation to work. Because confidence is not only an individual trait – it is also a reflection of the conditions we build around people. \nAnd when those conditions are right\, confidence stops being a motivational slogan and becomes a competitive advantage. \nWhat to expect: \nThe answers to the following 3 questions: \n\nWhy confidence matters to organisations?\nWhat makes a culture confidence-enabling?\nHow to enable confidence for individuals and teams?\n\nBiography \nWith a background in law and development management\, Ana shares 9+ years in leadership roles. She is a founder and manager of companies from their initial growth stage to scaling up across software\, hardware development and development industries. Ana is a hands-on professional\, with experience in building the HR function and team. With expertise in talent management\, employee engagement\, performance optimization\, and organizational development\, Ana has successfully contributed to the growth of several organizations. Ana is passionate about aligning talent practices with business objectives\, optimizing talent acquisition\, and shaping workplace culture that supports innovation\, collaboration\, and long-term success.
