HAPS Ecosystem – The Swiss Knife of Interfaces for FPGA Prototyping

May 19, 2021

For a long time, FPGA prototyping has been the golden instrument for software developers and validation engineers to accelerate software development and validate system integrity and performance on pre-silicon RTL.  Proximity to real-world use-cases, design cycle performance, implementation capacity, and reasonable cost have been the major factors driving its adoption. But, there’s one aspect that drives its popularity and broad usability, which are the ecosystem components.  The ecosystem, consisting of memory models, accessory cards, target boards, and interfaces, that enable IP/subsystem implementation on the FPGAs are really the underrated backbone of FPGA prototyping.

In this Synopsys webinar we will bring the ecosystem components, which are used in more than 95% of the implementations, to the forefront. We will explore the various choices available to HAPS prototyping system customers that enable maximizing your prototyping investment.  We will cover the various protocol interfaces and system modeling solutions supported by HAPS systems through its extensive portfolio of accessory cards, speed adaptors, DesignWare IPKs (IP Prototyping Kits), memory models and hybrid solutions. Attendees will also learn about HAPS Connect partners that offer development of custom accessory cards to meet just about any customer implementation.
